What NETRA is
NETRA is a register for explosives held in licensed magazines in South Africa: what comes in, what goes out, what is counted, and who did each. It is run by Custom E Apps.
Who may register
A business that keeps or uses explosives in South Africa, registered by someone who may act for it. That person is the company's Super admin on NETRA. NETRA staff check every company before it can be set up, and may decline one, saying why.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. What is done under your account is done by you.
- The Super admin and Administrators decide who else in the company may use NETRA, and what each may do.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
What you record
- What you record must be true. NETRA keeps every change, with who made it and when.
- NETRA helps you keep your register; it does not take over your duties under the law. Keep your paper register as well until the explosives inspectorate has accepted NETRA in writing.
Stopping
You may close your company's account. NETRA may suspend one that breaks these terms or the law. Either way, register records are kept as long as the law requires.
Still to be decided
Fees, availability and what each side answers for if something goes wrong. These will be added here.
The law
These terms are under South African law. How we keep your details is in the Privacy policy.
